Transform a simple weeknight dinner into something special with this Easy Baked Chicken Parmesan.

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Prepare an oven-safe dish by drizzling olive oil at the bottom and laying the chicken breasts flat.
  4. Pour marinara sauce evenly over each chicken breast to ensure full coverage.
  5. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top, followed by the grated parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in your preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

Notes
