A comforting and classic Chicken Parmesan recipe featuring crispy chicken, rich marinara sauce, and gooey melted cheese, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat each chicken breast thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the cooked chicken breasts to a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until fully cooked and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Serve hot, either on a bed of spaghetti or with a light salad.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for best results.
