A quick and satisfying weeknight meal featuring tender chicken breasts baked in a creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

  • 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Arrange the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  5. Optionally, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle them over the top of the chicken.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through at an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
