Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 12 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat over medium heat. Add the ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks until browned.
  2. Once browned, drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning following the package instructions. This usually requires adding water and allowing it to simmer until thickened.
  4. While the beef simmers, warm the taco shells according to the package instructions.
  5. Assemble your tacos by generously filling each shell with the seasoned ground beef.
  6. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, warm the beef in a skillet and refresh the taco shells in the oven.
