Quick and delicious ground beef tacos, perfect for busy weeknights and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • 12 taco shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • Sour cream (optional)
  • Hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s browned.
  2. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning, adding the recommended amount of liquid as per the packet instructions.
  4. Allow the mixture to simmer until it’s heated through and everything is well combined.
  5. While that simmers, prepare your taco shells according to package instructions.
  6. Fill each taco shell with the seasoned beef mixture and top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and any other toppings you love.
  7. Serve immediately, with sour cream and hot sauce on the side if desired.

Notes

Feel free to substitute ground beef with ground turkey or plant-based alternatives. Store leftover beef in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
