A comforting dish featuring tender chicken breasts and silky egg noodles enveloped in a buttery garlic broth.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat in a large pan.
  2. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the heated pan.
  3. Sear the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the same pan and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
  6. Add the egg noodles, cooking according to package instructions until al dente.
  7. Drain any excess liquid from the noodles.
  8. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and return the chicken to the pan.
  9. Toss everything gently to combine, ensuring each piece is well-coated with butter.
  10. Serve warm, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

For leftovers, store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of chicken broth.
