A comforting and crowd-pleasing breakfast casserole filled with sausage, eggs, and cheese—perfect for family brunches and gatherings.

  • 1 Pillsbury crescent roll tube (8 oz)
  • 1 pound mild breakfast sausage
  • 6 eggs, blended
  • 2 heaping cups of shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and remove any excess grease.
  3. Stretch the crescent dough across the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  4. Evenly distribute the browned sausage over the crescent dough.
  5. Pour the blended eggs over the sausage layer.
  6. Sprinkle 2 heaping cups of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and the eggs have set.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for later. For a crisper bottom, bake the crescent dough for 10 minutes before adding the other ingredients.
