A simple yet indulgent slow cooker dish combining ranch, cream cheese, and cheddar with tender chicken, perfect for weeknight dinners or gatherings.

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 block cream cheese (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot, laying them flat.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken, making sure it covers well.
  3. Add the block of cream cheese on top of the ranch seasoning.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken right in the pot.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon, mixing until the cheese melts.
  7. Serve on buns, over rice, or desired, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. Can be frozen for up to 3 months.
