A delightful breakfast dish that puffs up magnificently in the oven, perfect for any gathering.

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk (or 2%/lactose-free)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and melt the butter in a 9×13-inch metal baking dish.
  2. Blend the eggs, milk, flour, salt, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish.
  4. Bake for 22-27 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and puffed.
  5. Remove from the oven, slice into squares, and serve topped with powdered sugar and syrup.

Notes
