Delightful French Toast Roll-Ups filled with savory sausage, perfect for breakfast on the go.

  • 10 slices bread
  • 10 fully cooked sausage links
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Start by flattening the bread slices using a rolling pin or your hands.
  2. Take a sausage link and place it at the front edge of each flattened bread slice.
  3. Roll it up tightly and set aside.
  4. In a shallow dish or blender, mix together the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and flour until smooth.
  5. Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium heat, greasing it generously with butter.
  6. Dip each of the sausage roll-ups into the egg mixture, coating all sides gently.
  7. Place the coated roll-ups on the hot griddle.
  8. Cook for a few minutes, turning gently until they are golden brown on all sides.
