  • 6 slices thick bread (brioche recommended)

Instructions

  1. Slice the bread into 1-inch wide strips.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the milk, flour, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  3. Preheat a non-stick griddle over medium heat and add the butter. Allow it to melt and coat the surface.
  4. Dip each bread strip into the egg mixture, ensuring every piece is well-coated but not overly saturated.
  5. Place the coated bread strips on the griddle. Cook for approximately 2 minutes on each side or until they achieve a beautiful golden brown color.
