  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and thyme, cooking until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Carefully place them in the skillet.
  5. Sear the chicken for about 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish, drenching them in the garlic butter sauce.
  7. Place the turkey bacon slices atop the chicken.
  8. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
