A quick and indulgent garlic butter salmon recipe that’s ready in under 20 minutes, featuring crispy skin and a fragrant garlic-lemon sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat a heavy skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Let it melt and begin to foam.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant and just golden. Remove from heat if the garlic is browning too quickly.
  3. Season the salmon fillets on both sides with salt and pepper.
  4. Return the skillet to medium heat and place each fillet in the skillet, skin-side down. Cook about 4–5 minutes to crisp the skin and mostly cook the flesh.
  5. Carefully flip the fillets and cook another 3–4 minutes until the salmon reaches your preferred doneness.
  6. Remove from heat and drizzle the fillets with lemon juice and scatter chopped parsley over them before serving.

Notes

Use skin-on fillets for the best crisp and moisture retention. Fresh lemon juice enhances brightness and flavor.
