German pancakes are a delightful, fluffy breakfast choice that melts in your mouth and is perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Dash salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Place the butter in an ungreased 9×13-inch metal baking dish and put it in the oven to melt.
  3. Combine the eggs, milk, flour, salt, and vanilla extract in a blender and blend until smooth.
  4. Carefully pour the batter into the baking dish over the melted butter—do not stir or mix them together!
  5. Bake for 22-27 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is fluffy.
  6. Serve warm with a sprinkle of powdered sugar and a drizzle of syrup.
