Quick and easy homemade bagels made with Greek yogurt for a light and fluffy texture.

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the Greek yogurt and self-rising flour in a large bowl until a dough begins to form.
  3. Knead the dough gently on a floured surface until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and using your hands, roll each piece into a bagel shape.
  5. Arrange the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash, and sprinkle sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning on top if you like.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and fragrant.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving!

Notes

These bagels can be enjoyed with cream cheese, avocado, or smoked salmon. For storing, keep them in an airtight container for two days or freeze for up to three months.
