Delightful rolls with flaky pastry filled with savory ham and creamy cheese, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
  • 4 ounces deli ham, sliced
  • 4 ounces cheese (cheddar or Swiss), sliced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: mustard or mayonnaise for spreading

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet and cut it into rectangles.
  3. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese onto each rectangle.
  4. Fold the pastry over the filling, sealing the edges tightly by pressing them together.
  5. Brush the tops with a beaten egg and lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Arrange the filled rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Serve warm, optionally with mustard or mayonnaise for dipping.
