A delightful Hawaiian dish featuring succulent chicken thighs marinated in a sweet and tangy sauce with pineapple, ginger, and garlic.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs
  • Soy sauce
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Brown sugar
  • Pineapple juice
  • Black pepper
  • Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, brown sugar, pineapple juice, and black pepper to form a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs, ensuring they are evenly coated and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard any leftover marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken thighs for 6-8 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Serve the chicken with rice, a fresh salad, or grilled pineapple.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding sesame oil to the marinade. To maintain moisture when reheating leftovers, use the oven instead of a microwave.
