Ingredients

  • Puff pastry
  • Mixed berries (e.g., blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
  • Low-fat cream cheese
  • Honey or maple syrup
  • Egg (for egg wash)
  • Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares, roughly 4×4 inches.
  3. Combine your chosen berries with low-fat cream cheese, honey or maple syrup, and a splash of vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
  4. Place a spoonful of the berry mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and seal each pastry well.
  6. Brush the tops with egg wash to achieve a lovely golden color during baking.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are a delicious golden brown.
