Delicious and nutritious muffins made with Greek yogurt, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup neutral oil or melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Combine the Greek yogurt, oil or melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla in another bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, gently folding until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips, saving some to sprinkle on top.
  6. Distribute the batter among the muffin cups, filling them about 3/4 full.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes, until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to three months.
