Delicious and crispy baked chicken tenders that are easy to make and sure to be a hit with the family.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken strip into the beaten eggs, letting the excess egg drip off.
  4. Coat the chicken with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure it sticks.
  5. Arrange the coated chicken strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Lightly spray the chicken strips with cooking spray or drizzle them with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the tenders are cooked through and the coating is crispy and golden brown.

Notes

Pat the chicken strips dry before coating for better adherence of breadcrumbs. For an extra kick, add cayenne pepper to the breadcrumb mixture.
