Ingredients
Scale
4 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
Pinch salt and pepper
3 tbsp butter
6 cloves minced garlic
1/3 cup honey
2 tbsp whole grain Dijon mustard
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil.
Melt butter in a small sauté pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 to 60 seconds until softened and fragrant.
Stir in the honey and Dijon mustard, then season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 1-2 minutes until it thickens into a glaze.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Place them in the prepared baking pan.
Pour the glaze evenly over the chicken. Bake for 15 minutes.
Baste the chicken with the pan juices and return to the oven for another 15-20 minutes, until the chicken reaches 170°F (75°C) internally.
Allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a unique twist, swap honey for maple syrup. Marinate the chicken in the glaze for a few hours or overnight for deeper flavor.
