Flaky and buttery mini croissants that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/4 cup cold cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar.
  2. Cut in the cold butter and cream cheese until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Slowly add cold water, stirring until a dough begins to form.
  4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  5. On a floured surface, roll out the dough to your desired thickness, then cut it into triangles.
  6. Starting at the base of each triangle, roll them up towards the point to form the croissant shape.
  7. Place each croissant on a prepared baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm with raspberry jam, honey, or cream cheese. Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container.
