A flavorful fusion of sweet, savory, and spicy Korean Chicken that’s perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, gochujang, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Add the chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge) to absorb the flavors.
  3. Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  5. Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes to retain its juices.
  6. Slice the chicken, and serve garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

For a lighter option, use low-sodium soy sauce or substitute gochujang with sriracha for a milder spice.
