Lazy Chicken Parmesan Baked Spaghetti

A quick and easy chicken parmesan baked spaghetti that’s cheesy, savory, and kid-approved.

Ingredients

  • 1 (1lb) box thin spaghetti
  • 2 (24oz) jars of marinara sauce
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 8 frozen chicken patties
  • Seasoning to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions; once done, drain it properly.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the drained spaghetti with about 3/4 of the marinara sauce and 2 cups of shredded mozzarella. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, or Italian seasoning as desired.
  4. Pour the spaghetti mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Top it with the frozen chicken patties.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes to crisp the chicken.
  6. Remove the baking dish from the oven and pour the remaining marinara sauce over the chicken.
  7. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded mozzarella and 1/2 cup of grated parmesan evenly on top.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and turned a lovely golden brown.

Notes

For added flavor, customize with different cheeses or toss in vegetables.
