  • 1 Tbsp parsley (optional)
  • 1/2 lemon (optional)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 8 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thinner pieces.
  2. Pound the chicken gently to an even thickness.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and one minced garlic clove.
  4. In another bowl, combine grated Parmesan, flour, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat it in the Parmesan mixture.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the breaded chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  7. In a separate saucepan, melt unsalted butter and sauté the two minced garlic cloves until fragrant.
  8. Stir in chicken broth, lemon juice, and black pepper, cooking until the sauce begins to thicken slightly.
  9. Pour the lemon butter sauce over the chicken, ensuring to coat each piece well.
  10. Enhance your presentation with lemon slices and a sprinkle of parsley before serving.
