Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the bread crumbs, grated Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Whisk the eggs and milk in another bowl until well combined.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, ensuring both sides are thoroughly coated.
  5. Dip the floured chicken into the egg mixture, letting any excess drip away.
  6. Coat the chicken breasts in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently so the crumbs adhere well.
  7. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade Longhorn Steakhouse Parmesan Chicken!

Notes

Press the breadcrumb mixture firmly onto the chicken for better adherence. Don’t skip searing for added flavor.
