A delightful dish of succulent chicken breasts layered with ham and Swiss cheese, all coated in crispy breadcrumbs.

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 4 slices Ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Honey mustard sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil or butter, for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, beat the egg. Dip each chicken breast into the egg, then coat thoroughly with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat a skillet on medium, adding olive oil or butter. Once hot, place the coated chicken in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking sheet. Layer each piece with ham and Swiss cheese.
  6. Drizzle honey mustard sauce over the top generously.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your Malibu Chicken!

Notes

Feel free to substitute ingredients, such as using mozzarella for Swiss cheese or turkey ham for a leaner alternative.
