A delicious, creamy dish featuring tender chicken in a rich sauce with garlic and cherry tomatoes, perfect for impressing your partner on date nights or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until it becomes fragrant.
  5. Next, add the halved cherry tomatoes, heavy cream, chicken broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring everything to a gentle simmer.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and let it cook in the sauce for another 5-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it’s melted and well combined.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil on top for an aromatic touch.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet on low heat.
