A delectable dish with creamy sauce, garlic, and tender chicken, perfect for impressing dinner guests and family alike.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until they’re golden brown. Once cooked, remove them from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for 2 minutes, making sure to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  5. Reduce the heat to medium, then stir in the heavy cream, parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes. Allow the sauce to simmer for 3-4 minutes until it slightly thickens.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over it. Let it simmer for another 8-10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes

Pair with garlic mashed potatoes or a fresh green salad. For a twist, substitute sun-dried tomatoes with roasted red peppers or add fresh herbs.
