Ingredients
Scale
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Generously season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sauté for about 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove them from the skillet and set aside.
Add the minced garlic and chopped sun-dried tomatoes to the same skillet and sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth while stirring to combine. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning and stir until well incorporated.
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon some of the sauce over each piece.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and sauce is bubbling.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
Pairs beautifully with creamy mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a crisp green salad.
