Delicious bite-sized pancake morsels inspired by the classic breakfast sandwich, perfect for busy mornings or brunches.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the pancake mix, milk, and egg until you achieve a smooth batter.
  2. Fold in the crumbled sausage and maple syrup until well combined.
  3. Add cheese if desired for extra flavor.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  5. Pour small amounts of batter onto the skillet to create bite-sized pancakes.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  7. Serve warm with additional maple syrup, if desired.

Notes
