Transform ordinary chicken breasts into a tender, juicy meal enveloped in creamy goodness, topped with melted cheese and a crispy breadcrumb finish.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a baking dish in a single layer for even cooking.
  4. Spread the cream of chicken soup evenly over the top of the chicken.
  5. Sprinkle your choice of shredded cheese over the soup layer.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with olive oil and mix until well coated, then sprinkle over the cheese layer.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow the dish to rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. Let chicken rest before serving for juicier bites. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses and spices.
