Juicy chicken breasts smothered in a creamy, zesty sauce that transforms a simple meal into a culinary delight.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless (skinless) chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (or sour cream)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or chives (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix together the Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Arrange the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread the creamy yogurt mixture evenly over each piece of chicken.
  4. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes. The chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), and the topping should be golden and slightly bubbly.
  5. Sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley or chives over the top before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, try adding fresh lemon zest to the yogurt mixture for a refreshing zing. Ensure not to overcrowd the baking dish; spacing helps the chicken cook evenly. If you’d like a crispy topping, briefly broil the dish at the end of the baking time, watching closely to prevent burning.
