A quick and satisfying one-pan meal featuring tender chicken breasts and hearty egg noodles in a savory butter and garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Season both sides of the chicken breasts with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook the Chicken: In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: In the same pan, add the remaining butter along with minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Cook the Noodles: Add egg noodles and enough water (around 3 cups) to cover them. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cook until noodles are tender.
  5. Combine Everything: Return the cooked chicken to the pan to warm through with the noodles and garlic.
  6. Serve: Plate your dish while hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

This dish pairs well with a green salad or steamed vegetables. A sprinkle of Parmesan cheese can enhance flavors.
