A classic dish featuring succulent chicken breast simmered in a creamy sauce with sun-dried tomatoes, perfect for impressing family and friends.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Generously season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 5 to 7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add the heavy cream and chopped sun-dried tomatoes to the skillet, stirring well to combine.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover it, and let it simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. Reheat with a splash of water to maintain moisture.
