Juicy and tender chicken breast baked to perfection with a simple seasoning blend.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (68 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (smoked or sweet)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon slices
  • Chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Prepare the chicken by patting dry and pounding to an even thickness of about ¾ inch.
  3. Mix the seasoning by combining olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  4. Season the chicken breasts by rubbing the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides.
  5. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 2 hours if desired.
  6. Bake the chicken for 18–22 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Rest the chicken for about 5 minutes before slicing and garnishing with lemon slices and chopped parsley or cilantro.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
