A delightful dish that elevates weeknight dinners with its crispy chicken and creamy garlic sauce for a comforting family meal.

  • 4 thin chicken cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan (for sauce)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

  1. Generously season the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge each seasoned cutlet in flour, followed by a dip in beaten eggs. Coat with the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken cutlets for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer them to a plate.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, and additional Parmesan cheese. Simmer until it thickens, then season to taste.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over each cutlet. Let it soak in the flavors for about one minute.
  6. Plate the chicken and garnish with fresh parsley or thyme.

Notes

For a heartier portion, swap chicken cutlets for chicken breasts. Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed. Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
