  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional toppings (sesame seeds, everything bagel seasoning)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, Greek yogurt, baking powder, and salt. Stir until a dough begins to form.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until it’s smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into equal portions. Shape each portion into a bagel, ensuring you create a hole in the center.
  5. Arrange the bagels on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg, then sprinkle on any optional toppings.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bagels are golden brown.
  8. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute the flour with a 1-to-1 gluten-free flour blend. Store leftover bagels in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
