Delightful Quark Coins made with oats, perfect for a healthy snack or breakfast option.

Ingredients

  • 250g Quark
  • 100g oats
  • 2 eggs
  • 50g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Oil or butter for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the Quark, oats, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined.
  2. Place a frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil or butter.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot pan, gently flattening each mound with the back of a spoon.
  4. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they achieve a lovely golden brown color.
  5. Remove from the pan and allow them to cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

For a healthier twist, consider using honey instead of sugar. Serve warm topped with yogurt or honey, and enjoy with fresh berries or bananas.
