A quick and easy banana bread recipe made in your bread machine, perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Add the mashed bananas and melted butter into your bread machine pan.
  2. Sprinkle the baking soda and a pinch of salt directly over the bananas.
  3. Mix in the sugar, followed by the beaten egg and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Carefully spread the flour evenly on top of the banana mixture.
  5. Set your bread machine to the quick bread setting and press start.
  6. Once the baking cycle is finished, allow the bread to cool for a few minutes before removing it from the pan. Slice it up and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a teaspoon of cinnamon or chocolate chips. Store leftovers wrapped tightly for up to 3 days at room temperature or freeze for up to 3 months.
