A delightful twist on the classic grilled cheese, made with sweet Hawaiian rolls and gooey cheese, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Hawaiian rolls
  • Sliced cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • Butter
  • Optional: ham or turkey slices
  • Optional: mustard or mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half. Butter the outside of each roll generously.
  3. Place a slice of cheese inside each roll. If using, add a few slices of ham or turkey.
  4. Place the sandwiches in the skillet, buttered side down.
  5. Grill until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Serve warm with your choice of mustard or mayonnaise for dipping.
