A warm and hearty Ranch Chicken Crock Pot dish with tender chicken breasts, ranch seasoning, and creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can, 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional for searing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Optional Searing: Start by heating olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: In your crockpot, combine the cream of chicken soup, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well blended.
  3. Add Chicken: Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot, making sure they are fully coated with the sauce.
  4. Cook: Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Check to ensure the chicken is cooked thoroughly.
  5. Shred the Chicken: Once cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken in the pot and mix it back into the creamy sauce.
  6. Final Touches: For an extra touch of creaminess, stir in the sour cream. Optionally, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and garnish with fresh parsley for a lovely presentation.

Notes

Serve over rice or mashed potatoes, in lettuce wraps, or with crusty bread.
