  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the strawberries and toss them in a bowl with balsamic vinegar, honey or sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Spread the seasoned strawberries on a baking sheet and roast for about 15-20 minutes until they are soft and caramelized.
  4. Toast the sourdough bread until golden brown.
  5. Whip the ricotta cheese until it becomes creamy and smooth.
  6. Spread the whipped ricotta generously on the warm sourdough.
  7. Top with the beautifully roasted strawberries.
  8. Drizzle with extra balsamic or honey if desired.
