1 cup rolled oats
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup natural peanut butter
2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
¼ tsp sea salt
2 tbsp dark chocolate chips (optional)
1–2 tbsp water (as needed to bind)
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, chia seeds, and sea salt. Stir until evenly mixed.
Add Wet Ingredients
Add peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) to the dry mix. Stir with a spatula or hands until the ingredients begin to form a thick dough.
Adjust Consistency
Gradually add water, one tablespoon at a time, mixing until the dough holds together and is easy to roll.
Form the Balls
Roll the mixture into 12 even balls using your hands or a small cookie scoop. Place them on parchment paper.
Add Optional Toppings
Drizzle melted dark chocolate over each ball and sprinkle lightly with sea salt for added flavor.
Chill and Set
Transfer the tray to the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 7 days.
For a nut-free version, replace peanut butter with sunflower seed butter.
Adjust sweetness by adding or reducing the syrup based on your protein powder.
Freeze for long-term storage; they thaw perfectly in 10 minutes.
