A comforting and hearty casserole featuring savory sausage, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese, perfect for breakfast or brunch gatherings.

  • 1 lb sausage (any variety)
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup bread cubes (optional)
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Grease a baking dish and layer the browned sausage.
  5. Add optional bread cubes and mixed vegetables if using.
  6. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the sausage and optional ingredients.
  7. Top with shredded cheese.
  8. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until eggs are set and top is golden brown.
