  • Herbs and spices (like garlic powder, onion powder, or chives) to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Cut in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese, followed by the eggs and milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the cooked sausage or bacon along with any herbs or spices.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto your prepared baking sheet, spacing them out evenly.
