  • 1 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the chopped cilantro, minced garlic, lime juice, ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the cilantro mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated.
  4. Add in the chicken broth.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) or on high for 240 minutes (4 hours) until the chicken is tender.
  6. When fully cooked, shred the chicken using two forks, mixing it with the juices in the slow cooker for maximum flavor.
