Delightful and versatile shrimp balls with a crispy exterior and juicy, flavorful shrimp inside, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Add shrimp, breadcrumbs, green onions, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper into a food processor. Pulse until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small balls.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Carefully place shrimp balls into the hot oil, frying for about 4-5 minutes per batch, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Drain the shrimp balls on paper towels and serve hot.

Notes

For a healthier twist, consider baking instead of frying at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes. To retain freshness, store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
