A simple and quick icing recipe perfect for decorating holiday cookies.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons meringue powder
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar and meringue powder.
  2. Gradually add water while mixing until the icing reaches a smooth consistency.
  3. If desired, add food coloring and mix until evenly incorporated.
  4. Use a piping bag to outline and fill your cookies with the icing.
