Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breasts, diced
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Cooked white rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, and cornstarch until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the diced chicken in a single layer and sear undisturbed for about 2 minutes. Stir and cook for an additional 5–7 minutes until the chicken is golden and cooked through.
  4. Push the chicken to the side of the skillet, then add the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour the prepped orange sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat evenly. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 3–5 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
  6. Serve over cooked white rice immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Pair with steamed vegetables for balance.
